Angel Tree Holiday Campaign - Become an Angel
With the festive season just around the corner, the time for generosity and giving is now. Pathways for Children, Youth and Families needs your support to fulfill the holiday wishes of the many children, youth and young parents in our care through our Angel Tree Campaign.
Pathways is a charitable organization that provides residential and aftercare support for at-risk youth in York Region who are in need of care and shelter. Support for youth is also available at our drop in centre, Home Base. We also have Family Resource Services and a nutrition and support program for young mothers and their children.
At this time of year, we provide for more than 100 youth (aged 13-21), and 20 young families. Last year, with the help of caring people like you, we were able to fulfill the holiday wishes of all our youth and families in need.
In the words of one of our former clients, “My parents sent me a birthday card and a cheque for the first time and I wasn’t sure what to do so I decided to donate it!! I think about Pathways all the time and wanted to make a donation. If you could send me info about sponsoring a resident at Christmas, that would be great. I am doing very well. My life is finally stable and I have a great support network. I still keep in touch with the friends I made while at Pathways”. You can help us make this reality happen for someone else.
